I recently graduated from Brigham Young University with my BA in Theatre Arts Studies with an emphasis in Costume Design and minors in Visual Arts and Political Science. I love theatre, film, and fashion. I have experience working in film and theatre, costume construction, millinery, fabric dye and paint, and corset making.
This past summer I interned with BYUtv’s Emmy award-winning show, Studio C, which taught me about wardrobe, as well as working quickly and efficiently on sets. This spring, I was a costume designer for the ballet, Alice in Wonderland, where I collaborated with choreographers, designers, and artists. For this production, I not only designed the costumes, but assisted in buying and sewing costumes. I recently finished assisting on costuming a large-production opera, Manon. I most recently designed a traveling production of Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night, which was done in 1950s-style western dress. Lately, I have been working on creating my own swimwear line. I recently debuted my "goddess" swimwear collection at Utah Fashion Week 2017. While I am not currently mass producing these designs, I do take custom orders. Have a question? Send me a message! |
